Why “Fine”?

Behind the name Fine lies a very personal story.

Haus Fine is my childhood home – a place filled with memories, where I had the privilege of growing up and which remains close to me to this day. I was able to take over the house from my mother, Margrit Josefine, and I now want to care for it and carry it forward in her spirit.

The name “Fine” comes from her name, Josefine. To me, it has two special meanings: I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by my mother’s love and devotion, and she was also one of the finest people I have ever known.

With Haus Fine, I want not only to preserve a special place, but also to keep her name and the memories of her alive. At the same time, I am delighted to share this place with my guests and create space for many new and wonderful memories.
